Kencal Maintenance Corporation strives to continually reduce the exposure of building occupants and our employees to all chemicals and equipment that may have a negative effect on air quality, human health, and the environment. We use a three step approach to meet our customers' needs.
- First, we customize an appropriate staffing plan for our clients, providing the best possible service, while reducing both costs and energy. Second, we develop guidelines and implement training of our employees, addressing both the safe handling, and storage of cleaning chemicals used in the building. Our employees are also trained in proper use, dispensing, disposal, and recycling of all chemicals and use of cleaning equipment. Lastly, we use sustainable cleaning products, materials and equipment.
- Kencal utilizes Green Seal Certified cleaning chemical concentrates and appropriate dilution systems to minimize chemical use wherever possible. Equipment such as vacuum cleaners and extractors carry both the Carpet and Rug Institute as well as U.S. Green Building Council seals. These products and methods are designed to meet LEED requirements.
- Kencal realizes that environmental standards are continually changing and new products and technologies are always evolving and becoming available.
