Kenneth Hirschberg 

President and CEO

Kenneth Hirschberg is the President and CEO of Kencal Maintenance, a White Plains based commercial janitorial cleaning and maintenance company providing services throughout the Northeast Region. Kencal Maintenance, founded in 1976, provides janitorial services to over 10,000,000 square feet of commercial office space, hotels, medical facilities, and mixed-use properties. For over 43 years, Mr. Hirschberg has expanded Kencal from a small, family owned business, into an industry leader in janitorial services operating in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Pennsylvania. In 2018, Mr. Hirschberg was presented with the 2018 Family-Owned Business Award for Westchester and Fairfield Counties. Mr. Hirschberg has found success within his philosophy of providing the customer with old-fashioned, personalized service while utilizing today’s modern technology to enhance Kencal into a 550 employee, multi-million-dollar company for 43 years. Ken graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Pace University.

Jared Hirschberg

President and CEO of Kencal Painting, LLC

Mr. Hirschberg is the President and CEO of Kencal Painting LLC, a division of Kencal Maintenance. Mr. Hirschberg joined Kencal Maintenance in 2014 and swiftly began overseeing post-construction cleaning projects and commercial building accounts. He began as an Account Executive, ensuring customer satisfaction and supervising day-to-day operations. He has been instrumental in bringing innovative marketing strategies and philosophies to the company for business development in the Northeast. In 2016, Jared founded Kencal Painting, LLC, which has grown to a multi-million-dollar company. With over 40 professional, OSHA trained painters, Jared has expanded Kencal Painting’s services throughout the Northeast accepting projects within Class A office buildings, new construction, medical facilities, retail stores, and industrial warehouses. As the owner, Jared oversees the entire operation of the company. Jared graduated from Manhattan College with a degree in Business Marketing and Management.

Robin Hirschberg

Vice President of Sales

Robin Hirschberg is the Vice President of Sales for Kencal since 1986. Mrs. Hirschberg is responsible for commercial sales and post-construction cleaning projects. Mrs. Hirschberg’s primary responsibility is to develop and implement marketing strategies used to effectively handle day-to-day sales, advertisements, and development of new business ventures. She has received more than 15,000,000 square feet of post-construction cleaning accounts, all while playing a key part in Kencal’s acquisition of janitorial services for several colleges and universities. Mrs. Hirschberg received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education at the State University College of Buffalo. 

Ben Campos

Senior Vice President

Ben Campos is the Senior Vice President of Kencal Maintenance after joining the firm in 2019. With over 30 years in the industry, Mr. Campos has provided Kencal with extensive sales and operational management expertise. He has previously held management positions with Initial Cleaning Contractors, ISS, and Harvard Maintenance. Ben is currently responsible for commercial business development and the management of operations for the Northeast.  Ben attended the Pan American School of Business, studying Business Management.  He is a member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).

Rick Storey

Controller/Payroll Director

Rick Storey is the Controller and Payroll Director of Kencal Maintenance with 30 years of experience. Rick joined Kencal Maintenance in 1990 and has played an intricate role in the technological development of the company.  He is responsible for all accounting related duties including but not limited to; Payroll, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, Job Costing, and financial reporting to Executive Management. Rick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Pace University.

Mary Cintron

Director of Purchasing

Ms. Cintron is the Director of Purchasing for Kencal Maintenance Corporation. Mary started as an Account Executive and rapidly become the Director of Purchasing. She is responsible for purchasing building supplies for our customers. Mary handles Accounts Receivable, Union Employee Records, Workmen’s Compensation Claims, and Workplace Injury Claims. Mary received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Westchester Business Institute.

Jeannie Milo 

Account Representative

Ms. Milo is an Account Representative with Kencal Maintenance for the last 12 years. She is responsible for account management and new business development. Jeannie primarily handles customer service and communication between the customer and Operations Management. Jeannie has worked in the janitorial services industry for over 30 years and has provided Kencal with adequate sales and customer service. Ms. Milo received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Mercy College.

Juan Lopez

Director of Construction Operations

Mr. Lopez is the Director of Construction Operations of Kencal Maintenance. Juan has been with Kencal since 1985. He began his career as a cleaner and was promoted over time to his current position.  He is responsible for hiring and supervising Kencal Maintenance employees and overseeing all construction projects. Juan prepares estimates for construction projects, as well as other business opportunities.

Jorge Henao

Manager of Operations

Mr. Henao is an Operations Manager with Kencal Maintenance for over 10 years. He is responsible for maintaining inventory in Kencal’s warehouse and dispensing supplies and equipment to the cleaning staff. He maintains all equipment to ensure good operational condition. Jorge is responsible for hosting training courses for all Kencal employees to ensure all personnel meet the most recent training requirements. He interviews and hires new employees, as well as oversees daily and nightly cleaning accounts. Jorge is also responsible for vehicle maintenance.

Pablo Ronquillo

Manager of Operations

Mr. Ronquillo is an Operations Manager for Kencal Maintenance with nearly 30 years of experience. Pablo supervises all evening account activity and employees to ensure customer satisfaction.  He responds to client complaints and implements solutions to correct the problem.  Pablo interviews and hires new employees, as well as assists in new employee training classes.  When necessary, he assists workers at janitorial service tasks to ensure completion of cleaning projects in a timely manner. Pablo oversees the route supervisors responsible for account activity during the evenings.  Pablo graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Equador. 

Diego Varon

Director of Operations – Kencal Painting

Mr. Varon is the Director of Operations for Kencal Painting. Diego maintains inventory, payroll, and material records of painting projects. Diego is responsible for scheduling of work assignments daily. He supervises painters at specific projects, orders supplies, and ensures that painters are equipped at each job site.

Yobanny Avila

Operations Manager

Mr. Avila is an Operations Manager for Kencal Painting. Yobanny was one of the first painters to be employed by Kencal Painting and shortly became a key asset to the daily operations of the company. He supervises the painters at specific job sites, estimates material requirements, schedules, and assigns each painter with a specific job at each project. Yobanny acts as a liason between the customer and Kencal Management. With over 20 years of experience, Yobanny provides Kencal Painting with a strong skill-set and thoroughness.
